6 Months Old!

Lillian turned 6 months old yesterday! I still can't believe how fast it has all gone...there was a time when I thought it was creeping by, but now I look back and can't believe it has been 6 months! She is such a gift to us and everyday she changes and does something new! Her newest "trick" is sleeping through the night! Yay for Lillian...and for mommy! Keep your fingers crossed for us though...it has only been the last 2 nights, but I'm hopeful this time! She's getting so close to some other tricks too...I think sitting up is just around the corner! An update on the yogurt...NO MORE! She quickly let me know her tummy can't handle the milk yet...poor thing is still recovering from it. She won't have to go without though....we'll try Silk Soy yogurt next. Hope everyone is doing well...we are going to make the most out of what is left of our Winter break...hopefully it will dry up for us!

Sippy Cup Adventures

So we decided it was time to introduce Lillian to a sippy cup...it went well at first as you can see in the pictures below...but since then she hasn't been so interested. She's not a big fan of water yet and usually cries when she realizes that it is water in the cup and not her milk. She's also not real big on having to hold the cup on her own...she'd rather me hold it up and tip it back for her...I don't really blame her for this though! I guess we'll keep trying and she'll get used to it! We also had another first this weekend...she had YoBaby yogurt for the first time and LOVED it! I was worried about her tummy since she had problems at the beginning, but so far so good...I'll keep a close eye on it this week though! One more thing...we'll be celebrating Lillian's 6 month birthday on Thursday...I can't believe how fast it has gone by...people tell you that but you don't really realize it until you have your own child...well, I now understand!

My first official post

Okay, so I've finally given in! I guess it only makes sense for me to start one since I'm always on reading blogs anyways! I'll hopefully have a more interesting post tomorrow along with new pictures of Lillian...but don't hold me to that!
