She eats alone!!!

I have waited an entire year for this to happen! Not that I didn't enjoy feeding her a bottle...but I was expecting her to be able to hold it at some point. And now we have it, when I am about to take her bottle away she begins holding it. Go figure!

A good book...

Everyone enjoys a good book...including Lillian! Reading books is her absolute most favorite thing to do and here she is reading with her favorite friend Drew...it doesn't get much better than that!

Football Season!

Lillian had a great time playing with the football...strange to think that at this time last year she was the same size as a football!

She is 1!

What an amazing year! This has been hands down, without a doubt, the BEST year of my LIFE! You cannot fully understand the joy a child brings to your life until you have your own. Lillian has been such an amazing daughter to Chad and I. I wonder what we ever did before her and how I ever felt fulfilled before her. It is crazy hoe much a year changes too...how much she has changed in 12 short months! It truly brings tears to my eyes to think back on this past year and how much has happened and how much we have been though. Lillian gave us a bumpy start, but has made all the struggles in the beginning TOTALLY worth it! Thank you Lillian! I love you more than words can describe...you are amazing! Below are pictures from her "No Kids" party...so sad that EVERYONE had to be sick, including Lillian. She ran a temperature from Wednesday to Saturday morning. The fever FINALLY broke and she broke out in a rash. The rash start innocently enough on her face, but Sunday afternoon she was covered on her tummy and back. We think it is Roseola so she will be fine...no longer contagious! She can finally play with her friends! I know she has missed Drew and Kennedy! She is looking forward to Monday morning to play with her friends! And check out her cake...absolutely my favorite!

First Day of "School" 2008

Lillian has enjoyed being back with all of her friends at Miss Michelle's house! She has really enjoyed herself everyday with the exception of one morning. She has become such a big girl, playing in the play room with all the other kids...and actually playing with them! Another big accomplishment for her/us is dropping both of her daytime bottles! She REFUSES to take a bottle from Michelle...picky, picky....so we have decided to stop them all together and send her milk in a cup. I am not too worried about this because she'll be 1 in a matter of weeks anyways. She is growing up so fast! This is her on her first day...she was so happy this morning!


On another note...we're busy planning Lillian's big birthday party! A few more weeks and my little girl will be 1! CRAZY!
