It wasn't me...

This is what we get now that she can crawl! She is off and crawling and pulling everything she can from anywhere! We are now working on walking...Jennifer reminded me that we have 3 weeks left until the beach and if she's not walking (which is HIGHLY unlikely), I will have a baby covered with sand all week long!

It has been an amazing first Mother's Day! Lillian is such an amazing little person!

Lillian Update

I realize it has been a VERY long time since I have posted anything...sorry! Lillian is keeping us busy around here with all her new tricks! These new tricks include:

1-Crawling

2-Pulling up to a stand

3-Feeding herself finger foods...puffs, bread, etc. (this is incredible...gives me time to eat!)

4-Sitting from a crawl

5-"Headbanging"

6-I swear she said "Duck" in the bathtub...this was a one time thing though

7-Copies sounds

***and probably more, but this is all that I can think of right now!

It is amazing how fast this all happened! Lately she has been sick though...poor thing had fever for 4 days straight and as if that wasn't enough she got Viral Pneumonia, and of course no medicine will help! She is much better now, only coughing a little, but only taking 1 bottle a day (4 is normal). Hopefully once she is back with Michelle and her regular schedule she'll start eating again!

Spring in Statesboro

This is what life is all about! Yesterday was a beautiful day...I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get some pictures of Lillian with the pretty flowers.

Atlanta

Lillian and I spent the first half of our Spring Break in Atlanta celebrating my grandma's 87th birthday. It was so nice to see our family that we do not see nearly enough! She spent time getting to know everyone better...especially her Hikey! I can now say that traveling is not what it used to be...trying to get Lillian to go to sleep in her pack and play was painfully awful! The day we got home, Lillian took a 4 hour nap (12-4) and went down for the night at 7! Poor thing was sleep deprived I guess! We will now just relax and enjoy the rest of our Spring Break!

Opening Night

Sunday marked the official beginning of baseball season and Chad couldn't resist a picture of Lillian to mark the occasion...baseball is a must around this house!

March Re-cap

All is well in the Smallman house these days...Chad has finally finished baseball! I now have a husband that is home...even if it is only for a brief moment! This will last for all of 2 weeks though...spring football begins then. Lillian and I will enjoy him while he's here...even if it is for a short time! So much is happening with Lillian these days...her bottom 2 teeth are totally in, she sleeps through the night EVERY night, she enjoyed her first Easter and first Easter Egg Hunt, she went to her 2nd birthday party and had her picture taken with penguins, she has almost mastered the sippy cup (well all but tilting it), gets up and rocks back and forth ready to crawl and my most favorite...she gives kisses! I have waited for the day when she would kiss back...so sweet! I have lots of pictures to share since it has been so long. Enjoy!
